Cremation

You’ll find more affordable and respectful cremation services at Woronora Memorial Park.

We really care about helping you make the right choice – whether arranging a cremation for a loved one or making preparations in advance for yourself. The growing cost of traditional burial services can unfortunately cause unexpected financial pressure and hardship for some families.

Woronora now offers more affordable pricing for general and ‘no service, no attendance’ cremations, with comparable terms for weekday and weekend services.

Recognised as one of the most caring providers of cost-effective cemetery services in Southern Sydney, our services are held in our beautiful chapels with modern furnishings and facilities, including live-streaming capabilities.

Memorials

We truly understand how important it is to have a special place for people to honour a person’s memory. To complement our cremation services our peaceful grounds, gardens and niche walls provide a lasting memorial for your loved one.

Most importantly we are here to listen and help you through the planning process.

Our caring team is always ready to talk and can arrange personal tours of our beautiful parks and facilities.

Centenary Court

Step inside the quiet corridors of Centenary Court and find yourself in a gracious, open-aired piazza with simple and discreet niche walls. A water feature and dappled light makes this a lovely place to visit.

Tranquil Gardens

Gymea lilies stretch their massive, flame-red flowers skywards, while rosemary bushes offer a traditional symbol of remembrance. Tranquil gardens, with a gentle water feature for all to enjoy.

Henry Lawson Gardens

Take a stroll through our picturesque gardens overlooking superb Australian native shrubs and trees. Attracting a rich variety of birdlife, this is a beautiful tribute and wonderful way to keep memories alive.

Granite Circle Gardens

Nestled amongst the rose garden you will find the elegant and understated Granite Circle Gardens. Surrounded by Australian flora you can be completely immersed in a relaxed natural environment.

Rose Garden

With more than 10,000 roses on show, this is a wonderful place to visit regularly. Garden walk positions allow family and friends to reflect on loved ones with a small plaque that lies beneath a favourite rose.

Serenity Walk

Native and tropical flora forms a lush, calming backdrop for reflection on the Serenity Walk. On a gentle slope, paths wind their way around frangipanis and palms, while great gums reach toward the sky.

Henry Kendall Gardens

The Henry Kendall Gardens provide year-round colour and fragrance, with both roses and other flowering shrubs. Named after an Australian bush poet, well known for his love of the natural environment.

Missing Persons

Our Doorway of Hope is unlike anywhere else in Australia; a peaceful, calm way to commemorate a loved one, whether missing for months or years.
Set in a private, beautifully landscaped garden.

Book of Remembrance

Inside Centenary Court, you may choose to have one of our calligraphers inscribe details of your loved ones into the Book of Remembrance, including dates of importance and the date of their passing.
